Our world class service is provided in an exclusive location on a large estate with a grand manor house, formally a privately owned beach house graciously donated by the Thai Consulate General to Monaco. The facility’s grounds extend over 3 acres with 14 buildings, all within peaceful, protective stone walls for your serenity. Each client room is en-suite, single occupancy with internet access. We offer affordable 30 day & long-term all-inclusive treatment packages.

ope Rehab Center Thailand 24 bed drug and alcohol rehabilitation facility was co-founded in 2013 by Simon Mott and Alon Kumsawad, FDAP Affiliated and accredited by Asia Pacific certification board APCB. Simon and Alon met while working at Cabin Rehab in Chiang Mai. Simon was the Manager and Head Counsellor for three years and Alon was the Meditation and Yoga coach. Hope Rehab is now managed by an extensive professional team from UK, Holland, USA and Australia.

Hope’s mission is to increase public understanding of alcoholism and addiction, to improve treatment options, and to be pro-active in regards to prevention.

Hope's Philosophy

Our Approach at Hope Rehab is based on addiction science and the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) brain disease model. We also use the National Institute on Drug Abuse (USA) treatment guidelines and UK training standards (DANOS). UK confidentiality and duty of care standards as well as health and safety conditions. We understand addiction as a chronic brain disease that affects multiple brain circuits, including those involved in reward, emotions, motivation, thought, learning, memory, and inhibitory control over behaviour.

Hope’s Philosophy: Medical-assisted detoxification is the first stage of addiction treatment and by itself does little to change long–term drug abuse. We believe an addict or alcoholic cannot beat their addiction alone. Groups are widely acknowledged to be of unparalleled value for their common goals, the support and learning experienced. We teach and encourage the use of self-help groups like AA/NA.
Hope Rehab residential model: We are a therapeutic community (TC) that incorporates the Minnesota Model based on the 12-step program and philosophy of Alcoholics Anonymous (AA).
Psycho Therapy: Individual counselling includes, treatment planning, CBT – Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to modify client attitudes and behaviours related to drug or alcohol abuse, and increase healthy life skills.
Physical Therapy: Is just as important as emotional therapy. So fitness is a core element of our treatment. Daily exercise improves self-esteem and installs the structure and discipline needed for ongoing recovery.

Hope's Promise

If you are willing to work our program and follow our suggestions, then you can recover from addiction or alcoholism. You will never need to use again. However, we cannot completely cure you from the disease of addiction. Therefore, we do not claim to have a cure because that is impossible.

There is no doubt that addiction has a detrimental effect on the brain, causing long-term damage to brain chemistry and pathways now considered a chronic disease because we cannot remove the damaged parts of your brain. Also what triggered the addiction is individual and interesting, reconciling abuse, trauma or changing your environment, unfortunately, does not remove the pathways of addiction, so on-going self-management is essential.

Hope Treatment Center is what’s known as a ‘lifestyle business’, a project that has been set up and is run to sustain a “ healthy recovery lifestyle” for all those involved including the team, Simon, Alon and the clients. They have also shaken up the Western private rehab sector in Thailand by offering affordable and better treatment. Hope offers a way out to many people who have no other options.
